PP-2 brings a new way to hear. At its core, PP-2 integrates the most advanced analog playback technology available today — an optical stylus system that reads vinyl using light instead of magnets or coils. Where traditional turntables rely on magnetic cartridges, PP-2 measures the movement of the stylus optically. The result is a sound of extraordinary purity — able to reach all the way down to the lowest frequencies, with a depth and precision the previous generation could only approach.

Without magnets, the stylus weighs less. It follows the groove more faithfully, tracing the finest details with a delicacy magnetic systems cannot match. Every micro-dynamic is preserved. Every note sits exactly where it should.

PP-2 is driven by an axial flux direct-drive motor, optically controlled to adjust its speed a thousand times per second. Rotation becomes absolute. Torque is optimized to play even the most unbalanced records — flawlessly, effortlessly.

A built-in preamplifier, meticulously engineered to complement the optical system, ensures a signal of exceptional clarity from the first rotation. Nothing added. Nothing in the way.
