TRIBUTE TO DANIEL ARSHAM AND ADIDAS

[HANDMADE IN OUR DESIGN STUDIO, 'FAKE FUTURECRAFT 4D' ENCAGED]

Fast Fashion is not the only killing industry. Counterfeits have flooded the online market these last years.

A couple of days prior the opening of the new Daniel Arsham’s exhibition at "Galerie Perrotin" in Paris, I have been working on a new tribute project. This time, I pay tribute to the most futuristic collaboration in the sneakers’ world between Daniel Arsham and Adidas: the Adidas FutureCraft 4D. Encapsulated in a cage, this shoe is inspired from the 3D sole used by Adidas, and from Arsham vision ‘Futur Relic’.

Entirely handmade in my Creative Studio, I focused on the right colour and the perfect object that reflect this collaboration between the artist and the brand.

Through this project, I wish to highlight how easily counterfeits can destroy designers’ creation. It took less than 5 minutes and $80 to purchase these shoes online and have it shipped to us from China. It is unfortunate how easily anyone can have access to fakes.

I believe that what makes a product a beautiful artefact is: its design and its quality.
